Questions our clients often ask;

CAN YOU BUY MY CAR TODAY?

Yes, we can often complete a purchase on the same day that you call us, depending on your circumstances. Call us today and tell us about your car.

HOW WILL I BE PAID?

By cleared funds on the day that we collect your car.
We can pay by Bankers Draft or Bank Transfer directly into your bank account, which you can verify with your bank before you release the car to us.

I DO NOT HAVE A LOGBOOK – WILL YOU BUY MY CAR?

To enable us to buy your car, we need the V5 (logbook) and it needs to be registered in your name.

You can apply for a new V5 from the DVLA by completing and sending a V62 to them which you can get from the post office or online at www.direct.gov.uk
If the car is registered in your name DVLA have a fast track system available.

MY LOCAL DEALER HAS OFFERED MORE, IF I SELL MY CAR TO HIM AS A PART EXCHANGE, CAN YOU MATCH IT?

A dealer may offer what appears to be an excellent offer for your car – but he may have a large profit margin in the car he is trying to sell you and can give you some of that margin to appease you. Call us and tell us what you have been offered. We do not have an ulterior motive – we want to buy your car and are not trying to sell you something.
The most important thing to take into account, is what is the real cost to you to change cars. It may be that by becoming a cash buyer by selling your car to a cash car buyer, you may be able to find a similar car to the one you were considering, cheaper elsewhere – therefore making the cost to change, less!

WILL YOU BUY MY CAR WITHOUT AN MOT?

You can sell a car once the MOT has expired, every car has a value – call us, tell us about your car, and we will do our best to provide the best option for you.

MY CAR IS LEFT HAND DRIVE – DO YOU BUY LHD CARS?

Yes we buy left hand drive cars, give us a call and tell us about your car, we are happy to buy left hand drive cars, even if they are not registered in the UK.
We will also buy imported cars, we need to know whether the car is a parallel import or a grey import as they require different approaches to valuation – it will tell you on the V5 (logbook) which type of import your car is.

MY CAR IS FINANCED, WILL YOU BUY MY CAR?

Yes, we can buy your car, although the finance must to be settled as the car is actually the property of the finance company until the finance is paid in full. You have two options;

1. You can settle the outstanding balance directly with your finance company, we will need written confirmation of this from your finance company when we collect the car
2. We can settle the finance on your behalf, you will need to obtain a settlement figure directly from the finance company. Data protection laws require that you obtain the settlement figure, which we require in writing from them. We can then deduct the outstanding amount from the valuation of your car and pay the balance to the finance company.

Please note; if you owe more than the valuation of the car, the difference needs to be settled prior to us collecting the car and we will require written confirmation from the finance company.
